In our safe surfing guide series, I mentioned one important thing for safe surfing is dumping IE and choosing a better browser.
Remember, the browser itself can provide very limited protection for safe surfing. You still need other tools and measures, as explained in our safe surfing guide series, antivirus, anti-malware and webmail.

I call BS. Firefox with NoScript is safer than any other browser.
